Jeanine MacQuarrie’s journey with Woodland Park Cooperative School began as a parent, where she quickly embraced the co-op model’s unique approach to play-based, child-led learning.
Through roles as a working classroom parent, board member, and community leader, she has developed a deep appreciation for the co-op model, where parents and teachers work together to support each child’s growth and harness the power of collaboration in early education.
With six years of experience in co-op classrooms and a background in nonprofits and the arts, she’s passionate about creating a warm, playful, and inclusive community space where kids and families can thrive and have fun.
“Watching children at Woodland Park explore, problem-solve, and grow in a space where they feel safe and valued is truly inspiring. The cooperative model allows families to learn alongside their children, creating a strong, supportive community—and I feel so lucky to continue to be a part of that every day.”
